What It Is

Fractional is a quick and painless laser treatment used for improving the overall appearance of your skin. It works by using laser energy to create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin which are surrounded by areas of healthy untreated skin.  This invigorates the body’s natural healing process and the production of collagen to produce the results.  It may be combined with other treatments, such as a laser peel, to achieve the best results.  It is used to treat wrinkles and fine lines, scars, age and sun spots, freckles and ageing and sun damaged skin.

The Results

Skin will be younger and fresher.  You will see a significant improvement in any wrinkles and fine lines, scars, age and sun spots, freckles and other blemishes.  Your skin will also feel smoother and softer after the treatment.

What to Expect

Before – Our specialists will consult with you to design and treatment schedule that fits the condition of your skin and your desired results.  This will typically be 1-4 treatments spaced 3-6 weeks apart.  You should schedule around 1 hour to check in and receive your treatment in our comfortable spa facility.

During – The procedure is fast and comfortable.  There is rarely any discomfort and anesthetic is not required.

After – You may experience a little redness immediately following the procedure.  Complete healing will take between 1-3 days and most patients may apply makeup and return to their normal activities the day after treatment.  You should avoid exposure to the sun while you heal.
